  • Dual Core. Quad Core. Now they are 8 cores per CPU. It’s actually pretty amazing when you think about it.

    This article isn’t about the number of cores though, it is more about how the web browser will now have the ability, as do native applications in the OS, to use all the cores available to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.

    That’s a HUGE step in the right direction and it’s very exciting, because now developers can move forward and build more complex applications that will strictly live on the web.

  • You can read more about jQuery plugins future roadmap but but I think it’s important news to know that jQuery is revisiting how their templating API was implemented

  • I don’t know how often you’d need to set an entire background as a YouTube video but you can extend this into any other node within the DOM so this could be useful in other creative ways. I like to support developer’s cool ideas so if you leverage this in any way, shoot this guy an e-mail. I’m sure he would appreciate it.
